Engagement and anniversary sessions are a wonderful way to celebrate your love in a relaxed, personal way. For engaged couples, it’s also a great “practice run” before the wedding — helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera, get to know my style, and capture gorgeous images for save-the-dates, invitations, or your wedding website.

For anniversaries, it’s about marking a milestone, telling your story as it is now, and creating timeless photographs you’ll look back on for years to come.

My style is candid, artistic, and natural. I’ll guide you into beautiful light and offer gentle direction so you feel at ease, but most of the time I let you simply be yourselves. Whether that means quiet moments, playful laughter, or even dancing in the street — my goal is to capture the real connection between you.

That’s completely up to you. Some couples love the intimacy of an at-home session, while others prefer to choose a meaningful outdoor spot — the park where you had your first date, a favourite city street, or even the beach.

I’m based in South West London but often shoot across West Sussex and Hampshire, and 50 miles of travel are included in every package. Beyond that, it’s just £0.45 per mile, and I’m always happy to travel further for a meaningful location.

Wear something that feels comfortable and reflects who you are as a couple. Soft, neutral tones often photograph beautifully, but if bold colours or textures suit your personalities, go for it. Many couples bring two outfits — one casual and one a little dressier — for variety.

Ahead of your shoot, I’ll be more than happy to discuss your style choices, look over Pinterest boards and talk to you about any stylistic ideas you have so you feel confident for your shoot.

Engagement and anniversary sessions usually last around 1–2 hours, giving us time to explore your chosen location, capture a mix of candid and gently posed images, and let you relax into the process. But frequently people want more time to explore more spots within or near their location, they may also want multiple outfit changes etc… This is why I only provide a template guide, we can have an entire day together if you wanted or felt it necessary.

No — I personally do not use AI software for editing, and here’s why that matters.

AI tools are becoming more common in photography, but they can’t capture the subtlety, emotion, and personality that make your images truly unique. Automated editing often produces generic results, misses the context of the moment, and can “correct” creative choices — like a moody wedding shot, a warm family portrait, or a dynamic scene with motion blur — leaving your images feeling flat or lifeless.

By editing every image myself, I ensure that your photos reflect the real mood, atmosphere, and story of your shoot. My approach preserves the emotion, individuality, and artistry that make each session special.

In short: your photos deserve more than generic AI corrections. They deserve artistry, care, and a human touch. Choosing a photographer who edits by hand means your gallery is unique, expressive, and full of life — something AI simply can’t replicate.

I don’t set strict limits or charge for extra photos beyond a minimal amount. Every session includes unlimited photographs, carefully edited by me. On average, couples receive 50–100+ fully edited images within a standard 2 hour shoot, but I’ll always deliver every photo that adds to your story.

No — you’re welcome to bring as many outfit changes as you like. I don’t believe in hidden fees or pushy upsells, which some photographers use to restrict choices or increase costs. With me, you get the freedom to style your session how you want, without worrying about extra charges. Just let me know, and be cautious of time; outfit changes can take time, more so in some locations than others.

Engagement sessions are often booked 6–12 months before the wedding, but I also take last-minute bookings where I have availability. For anniversaries, couples tend to book around their special date — just get in touch as early as you can to secure your preferred season or location.

That’s completely normal — most of my couples say this before their shoot! My relaxed, documentary style is all about capturing natural interactions rather than forced poses. I’ll gently guide you when needed but mostly encourage you to just enjoy being together. Many couples are surprised by how fun and easy the session feels.
