Amy & Josh
An outdoor ceremony at Knockraich Farm, surrounded by the Scottish countryside and full of family life. Children ran between the games, rain came and went, pizza was served, and the whole day unfolded with an easy, playful energy. Nothing was forced; the children were free to be themselves, and the wedding was allowed to be exactly what it was — a celebration of two people and the families around them. space.

A full-day wedding at Launcells Barton in Bude, with dried-flower confetti, a Cornish band, dancing and pasties later in the evening. A relaxed, deeply Cornish celebration that was allowed to unfold naturally around the people and place. space.
Frequently Asked Questions

A wedding is a day in a life. So we capture it as one.
The people who came to be there. The anticipation, nerves, tenderness and chaos. The things you planned, and the things you couldn’t.
We don’t arrive with an image your wedding needs to become. We arrive to see what the day gives us.
Sometimes that means finding beautiful light, making a small suggestion or bringing two people a little closer. Sometimes it means doing nothing at all. The day comes first. The images follow.
You don’t need to spend your wedding trying to make images happen. Be with your people. Get married. Eat, drink, dance, talk, find the people you haven’t seen for years, or disappear for five minutes if you need to.
We’ll pay attention — to the obvious moments and the quieter ones, to the people watching from the edges, the expressions that last a second, and the things that happened simply because it was your wedding.
These things photograph well, not simply because they are aesthetic, but because they belong to the life you were actually living.
Years later, we want the photographs and videos to give some of that life back to you — not simply show you what it looked like, but what it felt like to be there, with those people, on that day.
If this sounds like the way you’d like your wedding captured, we’d love to hear about it.

Documentary wedding photography means photographing your day as it actually happens, rather than stopping it to arrange a picture. We don’t pose you, work through a shot list, or ask you to perform a version of the day for the camera. We follow what’s real — the nerves, the ceremony, the speeches, the parts nobody plans — and photograph it as it unfolds. The day comes first. The photograph follows.
-
Yes, if you’d like them. Most weddings still want a handful of family and group photographs, for the people who’ll ask where the one of everyone together is. We’re happy to gather people for these and keep the list short, so it’s quick and doesn’t eat into your day. Beyond that, we’re not looking to pose you — we’re paying attention to what’s actually happening around you.
-
Yes — we work together as a genuine partnership. We’re a couple who have spent years learning how the other sees, so we bring different perspectives to the same moment while sharing the same understanding of what matters. It also gives us the freedom to be in two places at once: one of us can photograph the bride while the other watches the groom; one can capture a detail while the other holds the wider moment; one can stay with what is happening in a room while the other follows something unfolding elsewhere. We don’t have to choose which part of the story to miss. We can simply cover more of it, with greater attention.
-
We do, though not both together — for weddings, it’s one or the other, not a combined package. Shooting just one properly, rather than splitting our attention across two, is how we do our best work. Let us know when you enquire whether you’d like photography or videography, and we’ll talk it through.

We’re based in South West London and photograph weddings across Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex as a matter of course, and further afield when it’s the right fit. If your venue is outside our usual area, tell us where and when, and we’ll let you know if it works.
-
We take real care over the edit — it’s where the story of your day comes together, image by image, by hand. But we also know you won’t want to wait weeks to see anything. Within 24–48 hours, and no later than a week, we’ll send you a first selection of around 20 sneak-peek images, including a social-ready carousel for Instagram that you can choose to collaborate with us on and share directly to your own feed.
We’ll keep you updated informally as we work through the rest, so you’re never left wondering where things are. Your full gallery will then be delivered within 6–8 weeks, carefully edited and complete.

Every wedding is different, so we don’t believe in forcing every couple into the same package or building a list of possible costs into every price.
The practical requirements can vary considerably. Your wedding might be a few miles from us with one location, or involve multiple locations, substantial travel, accommodation, or additional time. Rather than making every couple pay towards the most expensive version of those possibilities, we price your wedding around what you actually need.
Your quote is then the price you pay. No charges for additional photographs, no image quotas, no hidden travel costs, and no unexpected extras added afterwards. What we photograph, you receive.
Every wedding also includes both of us working together, unrestricted photographs, hand-edited images, a private online gallery, sneak-peek highlights, 50 miles of travel at no additional cost, and ongoing support throughout the planning process.
Tell us about your wedding, where it is and what you’re planning, and we’ll give you a clear, tailored quote with everything included.
